Ask Michele to
describe himself, and the first word out of his
mouth will be Neapolitan. The second will surely be
chef. Neapolitan chef and food enthusiast Michele
came to the world of cooking late. In 1997, at the
age of 26 he decided to leave his job in Naples and
follow in the footsteps of Francesco to work for the
famous Olivio group
L'Aroma, is located in the Woking high street.
Michele and Francesco continue to offer their public
the same traditional Neapolitan dishes that won them
a following in Naples.
"Once a Neapolitan, always a Neapolitan, We
may live in Woking now, but it's what we learned to
eat and cook with our mother's that defines who we
are. For this reason we go back to Naples every year
to rekindle our romance with the flavours and scents
of home.
"Michele and Francesco credit their mother's
with teaching them to cook, and says it is through
watching them that they learned the secret to great
food. "It's all about maintaining simplicity. Food
can become very complicated if you let it.
